corma GmbH and ComSec corporate group, merger since March 2026

A Step That Has Been Building for a Long Time

Those who know us know that corma has stood for digital corporate investigations, OSINT and intelligence solutions for 27 years. This expertise has proven itself across thousands of cases, for DAX-listed corporations, law firms and mid-sized companies alike.

At the same time, we have seen growing demand over recent months: clients need more than digital answers. They need operational measures, IT forensic analysis and legal support, all from a single source. That is exactly what led us to the ComSec corporate group.

As of March 2026, corma GmbH is part of this group. The notarisation is complete, and the collaboration is already in full swing.

What Stays the Same

Let us start with the most important point.

corma remains corma. The brand stays. Joern Weber remains Managing Director of corma GmbH and your direct point of contact. The quality you are used to, the established processes, the personal service: all of it remains.

Your ongoing engagement will continue exactly as before. No new interfaces, no new contacts, no disruption.

What Changes

Our service portfolio is expanding. Significantly.

The ComSec corporate group brings over 30 years of experience in physical investigations. Around 30 investigators, many of them former criminal police officers, complement our team. On top of that, we gain capabilities that we previously had to source through external partners:

On-site investigations and covert operations. When an OSINT analysis uncovers a physical lead, we can now follow up internally. No interface loss, no time delay.

In-house IT forensics. Court-admissible evidence preservation, directly in-house. From data recovery to forensic analysis.

ComSec Legal. Legal counsel from day one of any engagement. Employment law, IT law, data protection.

For you as a client, this means: an investigative approach that covers everything from digital footprint analysis to covert operational measures, all under one roof. Five units, one point of contact.

New Location, New Neighbourhood

corma has relocated to Cologne. We now share a building with ComSec at Robert-Perthel-Str. 4, 50739 Cologne. Side by side with investigators, forensic specialists and legal counsel.

Building the Digital Intelligence Team

In addition to leading corma GmbH, Joern Weber is heading up the new Digital Intelligence Team within the ComSec corporate group. Demand for digital executive protection and OSINT-based investigations has been growing for months. We are expanding the team to continue delivering at the quality and pace you expect.
